Years ago, I had to give a talk at my cousin’s wedding, and I remember I was paralyzed in fear!
I did all sorts of ninja tricks to not feel it.
But, what I realized was that giving this talk didn't 'make' me feel afraid...
… it triggered the fear that was already inside of me.
We can either go through life being triggered by fear and blaming, or trying to control things outside of us so we don’t feel x y and z.
OR, we can use the situations in life that trigger our fear to help us get free so they no longer have power over us.
This is a freer way to live because life can't trigger us in the same ways it used to since we no longer hold so much fear inside of us.
